I’m always on the lookout for these guys but I seem to never have my camera with me when I spot them!
Happily this one asked me to do a portrait session! This is one of the nicer ones. I had to keep it short because the bird had to fly off to another appointment!
Victor Grant will exhibit 30 years of fine art photography at the Guilderland Library from April 1st until April 30th.
The Town Hall in West Stockbridge recently placed a fine art photograph of the Shaker Mill Pond (Williams River) in their offices. It was displayed at the tax collectors office there to help brighten up the area!

Victor’s fine art photos were displayed at the William K. Sanford Town Library in Colonie for the month of August 2007. The exhibit consisted of 45 photographs, both black & white and color, of Landscapes, Seascapes, Wetlands, Wildlife, Nature and Architecture.
A guest book was provided for comments about his photographs. The following are a few of the comments:

Quality Printing Company of Pittsfield, Massachusetts which prints a calendar each year (A Closer Look at the Berkshires) has selected a photograph submitted by Victor Grant to appear on the cover of its 2008 calendar.
The photograph selected for the 24th annual calendar is of the Railroad Station in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. The contest to find photographic scenes representative of the Berkshires was open to amateur and professional photographers.
