We were overrun by trick or treaters last night! On the home front I spotted the two little “ghouls” from upstairs giving out candy on the front porch!

Danielle visited our studio for a photo shoot yesterday and together we made some great photographs! This is the one she selected for her yearbook portrait.
Once we had that shot all set, we moved into more of a modeling-style session with some great results! All of the photos can be seen and ordered here.
Now that the cold weather is upon us I find that many couples are really getting started on their wedding planning! Give us a call at 518-225-6306 to set up an free appointment to discuss your wedding plans. We are now accepting bookings through all of 2010 and all of 2011. We do book that far in advance, so to be sure that you won’t be left “standing at the alter without us” be sure to book early! The best dates, of course, always book quickly.
Getting married “off season”, such as later this year or early in 2010? Give us a call! Although we do book a variety of events other than weddings we may still have your date available.
And if you know anyone putting together a large event such as a Sweet 16, anniversary, business function, or Mitzvah – well, we cover those types of events as well!

I attended the Rensselaer Society of Engineers formal party last night to capture portraits of the members and their dates. Everyone was sharply dressed for the occasion and looked fantastic. The event was held at The Meadows which is operated by Birch Hill.
I have posted the photos here for all to see and enjoy. You can order your favorites through the on-line store.
We did a portrait session for Steph and Greg including some portraits together and some separate head shots of each. The photos from this session are now on-line.
Congratulations to Susan and Michael who came to our studio to capture some wedding portraits! We had a wonderful time getting a few shots of the bride, some of the groom and then of the couple!
I have posted the photos online for viewing and ordering. The gallery includes some examples of the special kinds of things we can do with our portraits.
For Susan and Michael – please view the photos and pull your favorites together into an album. If you then email me that album we can go over your selections in studio and determine exactly how to put them together!
We just enjoyed a brief get-away to Cape Cod. Beautiful!
It seems like wherever we go, someone is always fascinated by my camera!

Actually, for people pictures we usually let you clean up first!
Have a safe and happy summer!
Apparently we’ve been selected for the “Best of Niskayuna” program!
MJ Anderson Photography, selected Best of Niskayuna

With her family & friends all around her, Shabre celebrated her high school graduation last Saturday night in style! Everyone boarded the Dutch Apple Cruise ship in Albany for a 3 hour sail down the Hudson River and back!
The music was fantastic – you could almost feel the ship bounce to the beat coming from the mid deck. The galley served up some wonderful food on the lower deck. And on the upper deck, we were shooting photo magnets of everyone!
I just finished uploading the photos to the website! Take a look and enjoy!
