U.S. Commerce Association’s Award Plaque Honors the Achievement
NEW YORK, NY, September 3, 2011 — MJ Anderson Photography has been selected for the 2011 Best of Niskayuna Award in the Photographers category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).
The USCA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2011 USCA Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.

Each summer a reunion is held, offering a chance for the membership to gather and reconnect. This summer we celebrated the renovations completed in our living room and the dedication of a small museum of artifacts. Now that the cold weather is upon us I find that many couples are really getting started on their wedding planning! We do book that far in advance, so to be sure that you won’t be left “standing at the alter without us” be sure to book early! The best dates, of course, always book quickly.

I again had the pleasure of attending and photographing the activities at this wonderful event!
There was a magnificent array of foods from the restaurants in the area. A delightful variety of silent auction gifts had been contributed to the evening’s festivities. The music was very enjoyable – but I failed to write down the name of the band! (Please leave a comment if you know – I’d love to give them the plug!).

Local actor George came in for a head shot photo session today and we had a great time! George was so comfortable in front of the camera it made the session a lot of fun.

I had the pleasure of providing the photography to Melba and Passion, two of our area’s newest aspiring models! I had a great time as we experiemented with different poses and some outfit adjustments. The photos are now available here for viewing!
