Locally Owned Businesses

I have had the pleasure of taking portraits of some of the owners of locally owned businesses. In fact, I still have several more to take! These are going into the upcoming edition of Capital Region Living magazine which is doing a feature article on locally owned businesses. This evening the magazine hosted a reception to thank its advertisers for their support. For me, this was a fantastic opportunity to meet and network with some of the other businesses associated with the magazine!

In talking with some of the owners, I have found that many do not yet have any on-line presence! While they have thought about creating a web site some folks just haven’t gotten started. In addition to my photography, I also do web site work. Some of the folks I have had the pleasure of photographing will take advantage of my work for their existing web site or will have me develop a web presence for them and incorporate my photos.

Attention Models & Performers!

Its true! You do NOT have to travel to New York City just to get head shots and portfolio work! Save the cost of an entire day spent traveling! And still pay less than you’d pay down in the city!

Yes, we do head shots and models portfolio work. For portfolios, you can do multiple clothing changes to get a more varied feel. We find that people are most comfortable using their own hair and makeup stylists – so you can have that done before your session then come on over!

We do all ages – from smaller children to adults!

A special offer for March bookings – have your portfolio work done this month and get a free set of contact sheets from the shoot to include in your portfolio.  You can show these to prospective clients and then order additional prints or comp cards as needed for you to get additional work.

Services for amateur photographers and more!

Just a note that we offer some services to amateur and professional photographers as well as owners of home videos!

We can scan both 35MM slides and film on our Nikon scanner, emailing you the images if you only have a few OR putting the files on a CD for you.

We also have an Epson R1800 printer that allows us to make 11×14,12×18 and 13×19 sized prints. These are long life giclee prints of archival quality with an estimated life of 100 years or more when properly cared for!

And for those of you with extensive home video libraries, we can copy those VHS tapes to DVD for you! we can either do a straight copy or work with you to edit those piles of tapes into a more structured production on a DVD!
