The good folks of NABA held their annual golf event at Saratoga National this past week and I was again on hand the photograph the fun! Its great seeing the players each time!

Benefit Dinner for the Northeastern Association of the Blind at Albany

Last nite, the Northeastern Association of the Blind at Albany held their annual benefit dinner at the beautiful Franklin Plaza in Troy.

Over $50,000 was raised due to the generosity of the sponsors and attendees! Many thanks to Lydia Kulbida of WNYT 13 who was their master of ceremonies. The guests were also treated to a wonderful live auction run by local auctioneer Ed Finney, shown with one of the evening’s models displaying a beautiful bracelet for sale.

I’ll be posting the photos from this event over the next couple of days as soon as I get a chance to sort through them all!

ps – if you are looking for a place to have your wedding / reception, the Franklin Plaza is fantastic and the food was magnificent!

Northeastern Association of the Blind at Albany – Golf Event

Finally had a chance to post the photos from this fantastic annual event. One of the two major fund raisers that NABA holds each year, this even took place at Saratoga National Golf Course! A fantastic time and event.

This year we did foursome portraits so that everyone could have a memento of their day. And what a day it was! There are also action photos of some of the players as well as photos of the banquet.

 An artist who splits her time between Australia and the Capital District, Danielle Hatherley was kind enough to donate a unique painting – one that she did DURING the event!

Congratulations Tom Lomma!

After many years of service, Tom has begun to enjoy (and from the looks of things, enjoy VERY MUCH) his well earned and deserved retirement! Co-workers from the Northeast Association for the Blind at Albany, past and present, friends and family all gathered at Cook Park in Colonie for an afternoon of pizza and subs AND CAKE to celebrate Tom's retirement.Tom has talked about letting his career go to the dogs for so long that he has started a pet sitting business to spend more time with his furrier friends!

Enjoy and congratulations Tom! It has been a pleasure to know and work with you!
