Suzy & Dan get married!

24 07 2011

Last weekend I had the pleasure of being the photographer for the Cullitons as they began their new life together! It was a beautiful day with a wonderful ceremony and magnificent reception! The Mohawk River Country Club provided a fantastic and scenic location with incredible food.

I have hundreds of beautiful photos to sort through as I prepare their wedding album. In another few weeks I’ll have a complete preview of the entire wedding book. If you want to be notified when it’s ready, please leave a comment for Suzy and Dan!

Till then, here’s a sneak preview!

We do family portraits and events in addition to weddings – so please give us a call at 518-225-6306!

Summer fun for The Rensselaer Society of Engineers

7 08 2010
I am proud to be a member of, a past trustee of and the past advisor to the Rensselaer Society of Engineers, a fraternity at RPI. Each summer a reunion is held, offering a chance for the membership to gather and reconnect. This summer we celebrated the renovations completed in our living room and the dedication of a small museum of artifacts. We also renewed our commitments to scholarship having awarded over $10,000 this past year.

Photos from the event are available at this link to my website: RSE Summer Reunion 2010.

Would you like to sit back and enjoy your next event? We can be booked to cover celebrations like this and can deliver a disk of high quality images for y0ur website or other usage. Give us a call at 518-225-6306 to make the arrangements!

Happy Birthday to Rick!

31 05 2010

At the Vista Restaurant in the Van Patten Golf Club in Clifton Park, Rick and his extended family gathered to celebrate his birthday. After getting organized, we went out to a nearby section of the course and took advantage of some of the shade trees for the portraits.

All of the photos can be seen here including the posed family groupings and some candids during the relaxing time before dinner.

Hawks, hawks, hawks!

15 01 2010

I’m fascinated by hawks. I truly do not know why… but I find them very beautiful and majestic. On my travels I usually pass a location where two hawks can be found roosting, probably looking for their next meal. When I travel between the Capital District and Long Island I usually see a hawk or two along the thruway or side roads.

The other day, however, was truly unusual! I saw the usual pair of hawks although they were hiding in a different set of trees than usual. I then passed another hawk, this time in flight! And further along I passed two more hawks perched above the landscape!

Five hawks seen in the local area in a single day – a new record for me!

Fall Colors

1 11 2009

I took a walk around the Vischer Ferry preserve this weekend and captured some of the fall foliage.

Some of these are now available as prints or fine art note cards on my website.

Happy Halloween!

1 11 2009

We were overrun by trick or treaters last night! On the home front I spotted the two little “ghouls” from upstairs giving out candy on the front porch!

Cape Cod Vacation

9 08 2009

We just enjoyed a brief get-away to Cape Cod. Beautiful!

It seems like wherever we go, someone is always fascinated by my camera!

Actually, for people pictures we usually let you clean up first!

Have a safe and happy summer!

My Friend, The Red Tailed Hawk

13 06 2009

I’m always on the lookout for these guys but I seem to never have my camera with me when I spot them!

Happily this one asked me to do a portrait session! This is one of the nicer ones. I had to keep it short because the bird had to fly off to another appointment!

Local author’s photo shoot

4 06 2009

I had the pleasure of working today with local author Jill Peck Vona! She’s working on a new book and needed a portrait for the book’s jacket.

We took a variety of environmental portraits both in her beautiful home and outdoors in her wonderful garden.

Summer Flowers

30 05 2009

Was looking around my back yard the other day and realized just how pretty some of the flowers were!

Enjoy the beautiful weather!
